Early 60's Univox UC-3 - $395.00

The Univox version of the Jaguar, this guitar sounds nothing like a Jag. It does,however, have a nice sound that's all it's own. It is in excellent condition except for the middle position on the 3 way selector, which tends to cut out when you first select that position. It sounds great once you give the selector a little nudge to the right It's a fairly common wiring issue with these guitars, I also own one that had the exact same problem and it was an easy and cheap fix. Late 50's Gibson Skylark - $499.00

Wow! This little bugger sings! I really can't praise this one enough. Very basic, the way amplifiers were meant to made. 3 tubes, nothing crazy. But heres the rub: this thing produces Led Zeppelin like tones at about volume level 3! A perfect recording amp, as the speaker isn't big enough to produce the low-lows so there's really no need to EQ later in the recording path. If this amp said Vox on the front it would already be sold (and at about twice the current price.) This little party-in-a-box won't last long.

1951 National Aztec Amp - $1295.00

Looks as good as she sounds! The '51 National Aztec amp is a real beauty. National made some curious amps throughout their run in the 50's and 60's. The general consensus? The good ones are great and the bad ones are bad. Luckily for us this is certainly one of the good ones. Has a very rich clean tone, very full sounding. Breaks up just enough at the top end of the volume scale, giving that ever-so-sweet vintage sheen to your sound. Truly an Aztec treasure. $1295.00. pics to come!
